WHY SHOULD I INVEST IN HAVING VIDEO?

When you look at a photo from your 21st birthday, do you remember everything that happened? Would you expect the same emotions from reading a love letter, in comparison to listening to it being read it out loud by your partner? These are just some of the powerful emotions that we want to capture in a film so you can hear the voices, laughter, happy tears, and cheers that create a re-livable day. Photos are wonderful still keepsakes, but videos replay with your memories. Why do you think the wizarding world of Harry Potter charmed their photos to be moving pictures?

WHAT ARE YOUR PRICES?

Every client has their own unique story that they like to share in their own way. We offer an a la carte menu as a good starting point to help the clients customize their packages. Though our prices have a set number, we always want to get to know our clients to see what may or may not be needed. Contact us here or send us an email to get an exact price quote.

WHAT'S THE ENTIRE VIDEO PROCESS LIKE?

1. Get to know each other and see if we're a match! We'll also be dabbling in your tentative schedule for a quote.

2. Review and submit a signed contract with a submission of a $600 retainer fee to reserve your event date.

3. Pre-wedding phone meeting to go over details, must-have shots, and timeline.

4. Happy wedding day!

5. Videos from all cameras go through editing.

6. Receive a link to the final video to be digitally downloaded.

WHAT SERVICES DO YOU COVER?

We specialize in telling love stories, which include weddings, engagements, proposals, and elopements. However, we also collaborate as needed by our community to tell their stories as well, such as stylized shoots, documentaries with interviews, celebrations, marketing promotions, real estate, and many more!

WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU BRING?

Besides the typical cameras and tripods, we bring our professional lighting and audio recording equipment so that you stand out above the rest and your special vows, letter readings, and speeches are clear and adjusted as needed. Though we do confess, mic interferences, technical issues, and windy days are the worst! We also provide drone services for clients that want to "wow" their friends and family. Unfortunately, we do not provide video projection equipment services.

HOW ARE PAYMENTS PROCESSED?

We accept payment via direct cash or personal checks and offer payment plans. After the contract has been reviewed, a non-refundable retainer fee must be received with the signed contract to reserve your event date. The total amount due must be paid in full 14 calendar days before your event date. Late payments are subject to late fees. Payment details, such as recipient information, scheduled due dates, payment amounts, and late fees are documented in the contract.

DO YOU TRAVEL?

We love to travel! Destination weddings outside of Southern California are to be quoted based on the desired package with additional costs of travel and accommodation fees that will be billed separately. Local travel outside of LA County is subject to a travel fee as detailed in our contract.

HOW SOON SHOULD WE BOOK A VIDEOGRAPHER?

Clients should first book their venue to establish their wedding date and location. This helps determine availability, scheduling, and logistics. We suggest booking a videographer around the same time as a photographer since we work hand in hand, but usually no later than 10 months before the actual event day since there could be other clients interested on the same day. If you are interested in a love story engagement video, it should be arranged during the time of booking to schedule a date and storyline several months prior. This makes for a great teaser video for friends and family!

WHAT TYPES OF VIDEOS DO YOU PROVIDE?

We provide teasers, highlights, full-length creative documentaries, and multi-angle ceremony and reception documentaries. Raw footage is provided as well but at an extra cost.

Teasers. Perfect 1-minute video short for posting on your social media feed to keep friends and families excited for the actual video.

Highlights. A 4 to 6-minute montage of the best parts of your day with licensed music and voice-over narration pulled from letter readings, vows, interviews, and/or speeches. Highlights are great in keeping your audience engaged with a short and sweet film. Extending the film longer than 6 minutes can be done for an additional charge.

Creative Documentary. A featured film with creative montages that include, but are not limited to, prep, details, bridal party, cocktail hour, and dances, along with the entire ceremony and reception edited with multi-angles. This is especially wonderful for family and friends that were not able to attend the festivities! Pricing and the total length of the video are based on additional events, such as special ceremonies and events.

Multi-Angle Ceremony & Reception Documentary. If you're the type of couple that dislikes "fluff" and likes to get straight to the point, the Multi-Angle Ceremony & Reception Doc Film may be the right choice for you! We only attend a portion of your day to record ceremony and reception events using several cameras and editing it to look professionally done. Note, that this does not include music licensing.

Raw Footage. This is the least aesthetically pleasing video type where unedited files come straight from all the cameras used during the day. These include omissible blurry footage while walking/running, camera adjustments, and so on.

WHEN CAN I EXPECT MY VIDEO TO BE READY?

Depending on the type of video you want, they can be ready for review within 12 to 16 weeks of the event day. During busy wedding seasons, processing time can take longer, up to 20 weeks.

CAN I CHOOSE ANY SONG TO USE?

We are unable to use many popular songs in the market due to licensing restrictions, but we have several music libraries we can comb through to match your video style. Whimsical or dramatic. Electronica or indie. Instrumental or lyrical. Orchestral or rock. You let us know what gives you the feels, and we'll find it! Suggestions are always welcome!

IS IT SAFE TO HAVE VIDEOGRAPHERS DURING THIS TIME?

During these strange, changing times, we are committed to working with clients safely. We are fully vaccinated, supply our own face masks and hand sanitizers, wash our hands diligently, and try to maintain our distance from guests throughout the day, though at times we might be caught in tight spaces! Please note that we may be within the 6 feet distance advisory for certain situations, such as outfit adjustments and mic pinning for audio recordings. Don't be afraid to let us know if we're too close to your personal bubble!

WHAT IF I NEED TO POSTPONE MY BOOKED DATE DUE TO THE PANDEMIC?

We understand that there is a high possibility for booked events to be postponed due to the pandemic. In response to such development, we allow clients one opportunity to reschedule their booked event date without any fees and is determined by our availability. Should the same event be required to postpone more than once, an additional retainer fee will be applied to each occurrence and a new contract detailing all times and logistical changes will need to be signed.
